Cookie Policy

Last updated: September 2026 · Applies to the AirWave website

This policy explains what cookies and similar technologies AirWave uses on this website, why we use them, and how to change your decision. It covers the website only. The AirWave dashboard and app handle account and billing data as described in our Privacy Policy.

1. What a cookie is

A cookie is a small text file a website asks your browser to store. It lets a site remember you between page loads. Similar technologies — local storage and device identifiers — do the same job and are treated the same way here.

2. Cookies we set without asking

We set a small number of essential cookies that keep you signed in and protect your account. Without them the dashboard and checkout cannot work, so these cannot be switched off.

  • Session cookies: keep you logged in and protect forms against cross-site request forgery.
  • Preferences: remember choices such as your consent decision so we do not ask again on every visit.

3. Analytics, only with your permission

With your consent we load Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand which pages are useful and where people get stuck. GA4 is provided by Google and is the only third-party analytics we use.

If you decline, GA4 is never downloaded and no analytics cookies are set. We still operate the site, the dashboard, and checkout exactly as normal. You can change your mind at any time using the Cookie Settings link in the footer, which clears your saved choice so the banner reappears.

GA4 is used in its default configuration. We do not use Google advertising features, remarketing audiences, or Signals. You can opt out of Google Analytics provider-side at any time using the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

4. Our own first-party measurement

We also record anonymous page views and performance measurements (such as Core Web Vitals) on our own servers so we can see whether the site is fast and which steps of sign-up people abandon. This uses no cookies, is never shared with third parties, and contains no advertising identifiers. It is not switched off by declining, because it sets nothing on your device.

5. Third parties on this site

Stripe processes payments. Cloudflare hosts and serves the site and provides security features. Sign-in is handled by Cloudflare. These providers set their own cookies for those purposes and are governed by their own privacy policies. We do not control what they set.

6. How to control cookies yourself

Every major browser lets you view, delete, and block cookies in its settings, and most offer a way to block third-party cookies outright. Blocking essential cookies will break sign-in and checkout. You can also clear your AirWave consent choice at any time by clearing this site's site data.

7. Changes and contact

If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of this page. Questions about cookies can go to [email protected].
